Limited parking is available throughout campus by permit. All students who park on campus need to purchase a student University of Oregon parking permit at the Department of Parking and Transportation. Students with a DMV-issued ADA parking hangtag who purchase a UO parking permit may park in any ADA designated space on campus. Visitors to campus displaying a DMV-issued ADA hangtag are eligible to park in marked ADA spaces free of charge. In many cases individuals with temporary mobility limitations, such as a broken leg, will find it more practical to utilize the access shuttle. Bus service to campus also provides an excellent option. More specific information on ADA parking can be found at https://parking.uoregon.edu/landing-page/accessibility.
The access shuttle provides free on-campus transportation as a scheduled, shared ride service for students, faculty, staff, and visitors who have permanent or temporary conditions that limit mobility. Students who wish to use the shuttle may establish eligibility with the Accessible Education Center by calling 541-346-1155. Faculty and staff who wish to use the shuttle may establish eligibility with the Office of Affirmative Action & Equal Opportunity. Individuals with injuries or short term situations may contact the shuttle directly at 541-852-2561 for provisional eligibility.
Note: At this time Access Shuttle services are suspended. Please check the Access Shuttle website for updates on potential changes.
