Important Notes

  • Review our Registration Process for information on what to expect during your initial appointment.
  • Accommodations are not retroactive. 
  • Some students may want to include a parent or supporter in their appointment with the AEC. Because a key part of the appointment is hearing directly from the student about their disability experience, it’s often helpful to begin by meeting with the student one-on-one. Our practice is to meet with the student individually during the first half of the appointment. If the student chooses, they can then invite their parent or supporter to join for the second half.
